    If you choose to erase the disk and install Fedora, then all of your files will be deleted. If this is what you're planning on doing, remember to back-up all your important files. In fact, regardless of whether or not you plan on erasing the disk, back-up your files anyway as there is always the chance things can go wrong. If you choose to install Fedora along with Windows 7 (or any OS), then your files should remain untouched.
