A trial makeup run is very important. I would say you shouldn't go into your wedding day without having a trial makeup run first!
  • Question
Can I wear bold lip color, and bold, sparkly eye shadow?
    Community Answer
Yes. It is your wedding day, so wear whatever you want.
  • Question
    Can guests pose for photos?
    Community Answer
It depends on the photographer. If you have a good photographer, s/he will be happy to take pictures of guests. If you keep him/her overtime, expect that they will want extra money.
  • Question
What if the rain washes off my makeup and I can't retouch it?
    Community Answer
Try to find waterproof makeup, and always take spare products for scenarios like rain. Quickly applying some foundation and other bits in the bathroom won't take long.
  • Question
How do I look like how Kate Middleton looked on her wedding day?
    Community Answer
Find pictures of her at her wedding and compare her outfit to whatever you are looking for. Look at her shoes and shop for a similar pair, likewise with the dress. Her makeup is very natural, so ask a professional to do it, maybe even show them a picture of Kate so that they know what you're looking for.
  • Question
What are the steps a wedding planner should follow for a destination wedding?
    Community Answer
Find a suitable venue abroad or interstate and check it out online, looking at images, etc. Read a variety of reviews to see if it is good and, if possible, visit in person to verify. Book it when you're satisfied it's the right place and ask for a liaison person with whom you can keep in touch during the coming months of planning––they should be able to advise you on everything from transport to food. Organize the church or other venue for the ceremony and have contact details for the priest or officiant. Book accommodation, flights, transfers, fittings for clothes, food, etc. And it is important to have someone at the other end verify everything for you, preferably under contract so you can sue for damages should anything go wrong.
  • Question
How do you keep a veil from getting scrunched up at the ceremony if it is really long?
    Daniela
    Community Answer
Usually, veils are very delicate. A good way to keep your veil beautiful and smooth is to just fold it carefully and, depending on the fabric, steam it.

    Skylar Wilson
    Community Answer
If you are the bride or groom, consider holding both hands with your spouse, looking at each other and smiling. Show how much you love each other!
