Go to Settings. Click the Laptop Icon labeled "System." On the left, there is a tab labeled "Default Apps." At the bottom there is a subtitle named "Web Browser." Click the current browser icon that is shown and set it to Internet Explorer.

Microsoft's new browser is called Microsoft Edge. It has vast improvements over IE, and I'd recommend using it over IE. If you still want Internet Explorer, there are a number of download sites that have the older versions.

If you are on Windows 10, go on "All Apps" on the Start Menu. Right click the icon and click "Pin to Start". If you're running a different version of Windows, right click on your desktop and click "Add New Shortcut" from the drop down menu. Then simply browse for the file and click "Add".

Press Windows key+S.A search bar should pop up. Then type in "IE." Click on the search result that has the "E" logo on it. It should take you to Internet Explorer. Pin the icon to your desktop by right-clicking it on the task bar and choosing "Pin To Taskbar."
