    Band and YT Trash
    Community Answer
After you punch the holes, you need to the book. To do this, you need to thread your spiral coil all the way through the book, leaving at least a quarter-inch on both the top and bottom of the book. Then, use a hand-held coil crimp to clip and crimp off both ends.
  • Question
Isn't the method for making a felt and a fabric book cover nearly the same?
    Community Answer
They are similar. However, the felt method leaves extra fabric at the top and bottom to better protect the edges of the book as well as the flat area of the cover. That way it is better protected for books for kids or a notebook that gets jostled around in a bag often.
  • Question
I know a lot of another languages, I am 9. Will a publisher accept a book about it? [My printer is in black and white.]
    Community Answer
With help from your parents/carers, a version of your book could be taken to a publisher, but bare in mind lots of adults who write books spend a long time looking for the correct publisher, and often they are not accepted when they do put forward the drafts of their books. Despite this, writing a book is a big achievement, and so you should continue with it if it is something you enjoy. Even if you are not accepted by a publisher.
  • Question
How do I make a transparent zippered book cover?
    Noah Adams-Ortiz
    Community Answer
Look for the nearest art supplies store, see if you can find transparent plastic and a zipper. Fold the plastic over the book so it fits, make sure it's tight on there. Once you have done that, cut in a line on the plastic according to the way the book opens. Then you can glue the zipper on it. (Make sure to have one of the sides not cut so it's like a normal book.)
  • Question
What are some good materials I can use for making a cover for my of book or comic?
    Phoenix
    Community Answer
If your comic book is made of paper, then card would be good for the front and back covers. You'll notice that with books, they are either hard-cover or paper-back. Comics are generally paper-back with card covers, so I recommend card.
