QuestionIs there a way I can replace the barrel of a Strongarm so that it is like the barrel of a Recon?Community AnswerYes, however this is called "integration" and it's more complex. I recommend looking this one up on Google and seeing if it's been done before.

QuestionHow do I mod a Nerf Stryfe?Community AnswerThere are many mod kits online where you can replace the flywheels with better ones and put in high-voltage batteries. If you are doing a battery mod, be sure to bypass the thermistor (near the stock attachment point, it looks like an omega). You can also buy 3D-printed parts for the Stryfe online.
-
QuestionHow do I mod a pump Nerf gun?Community AnswerA pump grip Nerf gun mod is the same as any other spring powered Nerf gun. Open up the Nerf blaster, then upgrade the internals to your preference.
-
QuestionHow can I modify my scope so I can be accurate and be able to mount it on a Longstrike CS-6?TriteAndJadedCommunity AnswerYou will have to swap out the darts to make your blaster more accurate. Nerf darts are designed to have a soft tip, which make the darts vary wildly. Try switching to a wafflehead dart.
-
QuestionCan I modify any Nerf gun?Community AnswerYes, though some will turn out better and be easier to mod than others. Also, if you are going to heavily mod it, then you might as well thrift it.
-
QuestionCan I upgrade the springs on my Nerf gun?Community AnswerYes, but heavier springs might require you to reinforce the plastic. Kits for blasters are usually tested and come with all the materials needed for the mod.
-
QuestionHow do I modify the Ionfire?Community AnswerYou should buy a better blaster. Don't put any effort into the Ionfire, as it will always be bad. Breech loading blasters are bad/slow to reload.
-
QuestionThe screws in my Nerf Longshot won't come out using a normal screwdriver. What should I do to get them out?Community AnswerTry a screwdriver with a bigger head. If that doesn’t work, try putting a rubber band between the screw and the screwdriver. If that also fails, try a star-headed screwdriver.
-
QuestionHow do I modify a mega double barrel Nerf gun?Community AnswerGet a stronger spring, increase the catch spring (if needed), place tape under the o-ring, and you're done!
-
QuestionHow do I know if I can modify my Nerf gun?Community AnswerIt depends mostly on what kind of modder you are. If you are experienced in the art of modifying, then most Nerf guns should be okay to mod. If you are a beginner, it is better to mod an inexpensive Nerf gun like a strongarm, and then work up your experience from there.

QuestionHow would you mod a centurion to make it more powerful?ParkerTheCuberCommunity AnswerIf you buy a more powerful spring that works in the Centurion, and open up the blaster and replace the stock spring with the new one, you should get about 90-120 FPS depending on the spring. But, Mega darts are seriously inaccurate, and only designed for 70 FPS, so try just getting a more powerful blaster made by a company other than Nerf (ie Dart Zone).
-
QuestionIf I do this, will my enemies eventually know about this?ParkerTheCuberCommunity AnswerIf they modded their blasters already too (which is common), it shouldn't matter.
-
QuestionI have two questions. A) Can I mod a themed gun? B) How do you mod a gun’s ammunition capacity?ParkerTheCuberCommunity AnswerA) Yes, you can modify any blaster. B) It depends on the blaster. If it's mag-fed (Nerf calls it clip system), then you could just buy another mag, done and done. If it's cylinder fed, you could buy a higher capacity mag off of a mod site. If it's single-shot like a Jolt or Firestrike, you'll need to do a lot of advanced mods which are pretty expensive.

QuestionWhat spring blaster is the best and easiest for modding Nerf?ParkerTheCuberCommunity AnswerThe Nerf Longshot (not the Icon Series Longshot) is probably the most popular, and easiest because of the aftermarket support. If you want a basic mod, you could buy a pump-action kit and an upgraded spring. If you want to go a bit higher, you could make it shoot half-darts and add a brass breach. If you want a whole new blaster that barely resembles a Longshot, buy an Xzeus 2 shell kit and full metal internals. It can seem daunting at first, but try whatever you feel comfortable with.
-
QuestionHow we can customize a Nerf surgefire without taking out the screws?ParkerTheCuberCommunity AnswerIt's hard to modify a blaster without taking out the screws. If you're having trouble taking the screws out, try a larger screwdriver so you have more force turning the screws. If you just don't want to take out the screws, you could just buy a Dart Zone Villainator. It's cheap, holds 40 darts, and shoots farther than a Surgefire.
-
QuestionCan I attach a laser pointer?ParkerTheCuberCommunity AnswerYes! You can attach anything with duct tape or epoxy. Just be sure that it's a powerful enough laser so you don't waste your time.
