Why can't I select it from the menu?

    Community Answer
On the menu, it doesn't let you change your name; it keeps your name but resets only your progress. A true reset resets the whole game - name and everything.

Be mysterious, yet have great charisma. Make yourself appear to have great power, yet don't show it unless it is necessary.
  • Question
I can't find the AppData. I'm on a Windows, it isn't under the user, and I've checked every other user.

In your User's folder, look at the View tab of your Windows Explorer. At the "Show/hide" section, make sure the "Hidden Items" checkbox isn't ticked. If this still doesn't work, follow these steps: 1) Open "Command Prompt". 2) Enter the string of text below: attrib -s -h C:\Users\myusername\AppData The command above would remove any attributes set on this folder that could hide the folder.

  • Question
I have tried to reset, but every time I sign on I am in the same place. What else should I try?

Try this: Close out of Undertale if open, then go on Steam, find "Undertale" and right-click on it. Then click "Properties" and click on updates and uncheck "Enable Steam Cloud". Go to go to folder and type in "~/Library/Application Support/com.tobyfox.undertale/". If that is there, delete "system information 963" but not "system information 962" and don't close out of "com.tobyfox.undertale". Open undertale and wait for Chara then sell your soul to them after that don't open Undertale but go back to com.tobyfox.undertale and delete all "system information" in there. The last step is to check to see if it worked (and it should work) and if it did have fun.

I don't have it on Switch but the truest reset should be: System settings > Data management > Manage save data > Delete save data > Undertale. Or play your genocide run on a separate user profile.
  • Question
Is Sans aware of alternate universes like, for example Underfell and Dusttale?
    Lilianna Manley
    Community Answer
Of course he is, if you didn't notice when your back from the Dark World from Deltarune in town when you talk to sans he gives a wink when he says this is his first time meeting you; other times in Undertale when he makes a joke or references other timelines, he also winks; leading you to think that he probably is lying.
  • Question
How can I get it on my schools Chromebook?
    Community Answer
Try going to jcw87.github.io/c2-sans-fight. That will bring you to the Sans fight screen. (Note: this next step is optional, and just makes for easier navigating.) In the top URL Bar, there should be a circled plus. click on that, then click yes on the popup. This allows you to launch the game much easier. It isn't the true Undertale, but a Sans Fight is better than nothing.
