It's totally up to you, but I'd recommend asking family or friends for recommendations. You can also browse around online and look at travel blogs and things like that. Libraries typically have travel destination books as well if you're looking for inspiration.

If you're travelling with family, there are all kinds of discounts for children, students, and seniors. Airlines, hotels, and attractions often offer some kind of discount if you ask. Also, for flights, children under 2 can usually sit on their parent's lap without paying for an extra seat.
  • Question
How do I book a flight?
    Community Answer
Go to the airline's website. Search your destination and departure date. Then it will show you all of the available seats and flights. Connecting flights tend to be cheaper, so if you are on a pretty tight budget. consider flights with layovers. Once you find the flight that you are looking for, consider the price. Never stick to only the airline's website for a good deal, go to a multipurpose travel site, such as Trivago or Tripadvisor. Some websites will have a price match guarantee, so if you find a lesser price for the same flight, you can tell that website and they will make a lower offer.
  • Question
Is it scary on a plane?
    Community Answer
No, but it is temporary loud. I recommend headphones or ear plugs.
  • Question
How do I figure out the transportation at my destination?
    Community Answer
There are usually a number of airport taxis and shuttles near the baggage-claim area at an airport, as well as auto rental desks; if you're going the rental route, you'd do well to reserve a car before you depart. Once you've arrived at the location you're staying, you can assess mass-transit options (or use Uber/Lyft and taxis) if you've opted not to rent a vehicle.
