To play LAN on PC, you will need press esc key, and press the Open to LAN button. Select the gamemode you want your participants to play on, and if cheats are allowed or not. Once you do this, press, Start LAN World, and anyone connected to your local network should see your server in their Multiplayer server tab on the beginning game menu, at the bottom of the server list.
