QuestionWhat do you do with the jokers?Community AnswerJokers in a deck of cards are there for you to replace a card incase you lose one. For example, if you lose your queen of hearts card, you can use a joker by writing "queen of hearts" on it. Until a joker is needed, you should just leave it in the box so they are there when they are needed.
-
QuestionCan two sequences use more than one chip of another sequence?Community AnswerNo, only one chip from an existing sequence may be used to complete another sequence.
-
QuestionCan you start or end a sequence in another sequence?Hamza HayatCommunity AnswerYes, sequences could be made with the help of other sequences. You can make all 3 sequences in one another if they are not breaking any rules.
-
QuestionWhy are there 100 miniature images of cards when there are only 96 cards and 4 extra bonus spaces?Community AnswerThe 4 miniature images in the corners represent bonus spaces, which automatically belong to everyone without needing a card.

QuestionHow many cards to each of 3 players?TheFreshArtistCommunity AnswerFor playing a game of Sequence with 3 players, 1 player should have 6 cards.
-
QuestionCan you use a sequence to make your second sequence?TheFreshArtistCommunity AnswerWhile forming a sequence requires 5 tiles in a row, no sequence can intersect another already-formed sequence by more than 1 tile.
-
QuestionIf there are six players, is it best to have 2 to 3 players or 3 to 2 players?TheFreshArtistCommunity AnswerThe game is for 2-12 players composed of even teams divisible by 2 or 3. So, it is better if you play it with 3 teams with 2 players each.
-
QuestionI was told you must turn the board after each game. Is that a rule?Community AnswerIt technically is not a rule, it just changes the game up a little bit so if you want to have different winners/losers, flip the board. You can also check the rule book, as it may also have suggestions.
-
QuestionWhat is the role of the joker card in the game Sequence?Christina_MarsCommunity AnswerIn the game Sequence, the joker card is not used. Instead, Jack cards serve as wild cards: Two-Eyed Jacks let you place a chip on any open space, while One-Eyed Jacks allow you to remove an opponent's chip, adding strategic elements to the game.
-
QuestionWhat happens if I forget to pick a card after my turn?HashahCommunity AnswerIf you forget to pick a card after your turn, you lose the opportunity to get that card and will be one card short compared to the other players.
-
QuestionCan you make a sequence with an ace, king, queen, ten, and nine if there's no jack?Christine SattlerCommunity AnswerNo, a jack is needed to complete the sequence. Depending on the game you are playing, the suit of the card can also be important.

QuestionDo you remove the remaining discs once a Sequence is completed before starting a new game?Community AnswerYes, once you have completed the sequences, you should remove the discs and reset everything to the initial game setup if you want to play again.
-
QuestionWhat happens when you run out of cards?Community AnswerWith the way the Sequence board is set up (one space for each card except Jacks), I don't think it's possible to run out of cards.
-
QuestionIf a team gets their first sequence with cards in the middle of a line of 10 cards, can they then fill in both ends of that line and consider it two sequences?Community AnswerYes, that would count as two sequences because it forms two separate lines of five cards each.
-
QuestionIf I form a line of five from the free corners, do I need to claim the free space?Community AnswerNo, you don't. Both teams can use the free corners simultaneously, so you leave it without any chips.
-

-
QuestionCan I make 2 sequences in one move by putting the last chip connecting them?Community AnswerEach chip can only be part of one sequence. You have a chip as part of two sequences.
-
QuestionIf a two-eyed jack was used to fill a space on the board and is not part of a sequence, can we use a one eyed jack to remove that chip on the board?Community AnswerAs long as a chip is not part of a sequence, it can be removed with a one-eyed jack. This means even chips placed with a two-eyed jack can be removed.
-
QuestionI want to use one-eye jack, and there are 7 chips in a row horizontally of opposite team, Can I remove any one of them ?Community AnswerYes, you can remove any chip on the board, as long as it's not already a sequence.

QuestionWhen playing with 2 people, do you shuffle both decks together to play or keep them separately one deck per person to play individually?Kathryn LemonCommunity AnswerWhen playing Sequence with only 2 players, shuffle both decks together in order to ensure that any card can be drawn randomly, and make sure that the drawing is fair.
-

-
QuestionWhat is best to start a turn? Where? Why?Kathryn LemonCommunity AnswerThere is no "best move" to start with in a game, but if you are going first, try to go closer to the corners or to the middle, instead of just in between. If you aren't going first, place a chip in the path of another player's sequence, if possible. Another good move may be playing in a spot far from any chips - this tends to stop the other player(s) from focusing on that side of the board. If you have a one or two-eyed jack, use them carefully. Only remove a chip if it'll make it much easier for you to win, or another player is very close to winning. For two-eyed, same rules apply. Sequence is very much a game of strategy.
