  • Question
How can I recover my account if I no longer have access to my email address?
    Community Answer
If you cannot remember your password and you don't have access to the email you used to create the account, then you won't be able to access the old account. The best thing to do would be to create a new account using an email address that you can successfully access.

  • Question
The only way to get mine back (age issue) is to submit ID, but I’m trans and went by a different name on my account. Will ID still work if it’s a different name?

    Community Answer
If you legally changed your name, you should have paperwork that confirms your name change. This isn't a transphobic issue. It's the same process for anyone changing their name for whatever reason. This paperwork submitted along with your old birth certificate or previous old ID will be enough to prove you are who you say you are.
  • Question
How can I deal with "X" (formerly Twitter) on a suspension when they do not respond to emails or appeals? No communication for over a month despite multiple requests for information.

Be patient. It takes a while.
  • Question
I'm unable to do all this. I can't log in to our file appeal, because they locked my account and removed it. There's no appeal form for me when i click. I can't verify and wasn't notified about content against the rules.

    Community Answer
If you go to the twitter.com webpage and log in, there is a process signposting you to appeal the suspension. Be patient. It may take them a few weeks to review your account. Twitter Support will send you an email when they make their decision. Be prepared: the form you fill out is long, but enter as much information as you can. Include dates and how you got hacked and by whom. If you received the 'suspicious activity' email from Twitter asking to reset your password, tell them about the hack. This is key info to back up your claim. Even though the automated system suspected a hack, human support won't know about it.
