There is an oil blend called Thieves essential oil that will kill mold. Use a spray bottle and soak the stucco with this oil. The proportion of oils seems to work best is 40 drops of clove, 35 drops of lemon, 20 drops of cinnamon, 15 drops of eucalyptus, and 10 drops of rosemary. Fill your spray bottle the rest of the way with water, and shake well before use.

    Community Answer
Clean all of the seals with a sponge containing full strength hydrogen peroxide and use cotton swabs soaked with peroxide to get in the small places. When you clean the seals, be sure to start at the bottom of the dishwasher and work your way up to avoid pushing the mold into unseen places. Allow to air dry, and then use dry cotton swabs to reach any damp areas. Then use a special dishwasher cleaner. To prevent further mold issues, empty your dishwasher promptly and leave the door ajar.
  • Question
How do I remove mold or mildew stains from a mirror?
    Community Answer
If the mold has reached the back of the mirror, I don't believe it is possible to remove it without damaging the mirror. You can try washing gently with a mixture of chlorine bleach and water, or even just plain bleach, but be very careful and test a small part of the mirror before you proceed. The danger is that you could remove the coating that makes the mirror reflective along with the mold.
  • Question
I have black mold in our wall air conditioner. It is on the foam used in the air conditioner. How and what do you recommend using to remove it? I live in a humid climate.
    Community Answer
The best thing is to replace the air conditioner. Once there is black mold, you have a problem. Not only does the foam have black mold, it has most likely filled every nook and cranny of the air conditioner. If you can replace the foam, and clean every possible area of the air conditioner with a recommended cleaning solution, that may work. Unfortunately, after doing all that there still be mold in the unit which will blow into your room. The mold can cause upper respiratory problems, sinus infections, and head aches. When it comes to your health, black mold is nothing to mess with.
