QuestionI have a top loading machine. There is something stuck inside the drainage hose, but I am not able to remove it. What can I do?The Four Trust CompanyCommunity AnswerUse a wet/dry vacuum to suck through the hose where it empties into the drain. Or, you can remove the hose and blow through it from the other side. Make sure the obstruction is not in the washing machine. You could also take a wire hanger, bend the end into a small, tight circle to prevent sharp edges, and slowly twist it into a finger size curly shape, like an old telephone cord. Then gently, starting at one end of the removed hose, start pushing the wire through working it in a circular motion. Whatever is caught should come out.
