If your family is paying no attention to the point where your mental or physical health is suffering or if it is going as far as they are forgetting to give you food then it could be a sign of a type of abuse called neglect. This is most likely not the case but if you are feeling neglected, then you should talk to them about it because sometimes when people get really stressed they get caught up in their own problems and forget about everything else, so they might not even realize they are doing it.
