    Expert Answer
As long as you're pursuing what makes you happy and you're not intentionally hurting anyone, go out there and get the fresh start you really want. Don't let the fear of letting other people down keep you from being your most peaceful, satisfied self.

  • Question
My family judges me, my friends judge me, my sister makes me feel like nothing. I just want a fresh start. I have depression. How can I ignore the people I love the most? I'm sad nearly all the time.
    Community Answer
In my experience with anxiety and depression, I thought everyone was judging me when really they were just telling me what I needed to fix to have a better life for myself. I am sure your sister doesn't mean to hurt you. She may just be acting out in her own way, maybe pointing out other people's flaws makes her feel better about herself. Best thing to do is tell everybody you want to start fresh and you want to change for the better. If your depression is really bad, talk to your doctor and see what you can do.
  • Question
How do I get a fresh start every day?
    Blesdagin
    Community Answer
Get out of bed at 5:30 a.m. and make your bed. Think about all the positive things that will make your day easier. Drink a glass of lemon and warm water, work out for 15 minutes, meditate for 15 minutes, take a hot shower, and read a positive development book. Do not watch the news first thing in the morning.

Would this apply to people after having a fall out with friends?
    Hannah Madden

Definitely! You might want a fresh start after falling out with a group of friends. In that case, you can try joining clubs or groups in your area to meet new people with your same interests. Keep an open mind, and be sure that your new friends are a positive influence on your life.
