Avoid doing this! Leather shoes need to breathe or the material will start to mold and break down. Wrap the shoes with acid-free tissue paper, if desired, and keep them in a cardboard box--ideally the original shoebox. Tape a picture of the shoes on the outside of the box for convenience.
