    Use the zip-lock freezer bag method mentioned above with wadded up newspaper in the toe and calf area to keep the 1/3 full of water bag ( =no air) exactly where you need to stretch out the ankle in your boots. Put in the freezer overnight, thaw 20 minutes before removing and it will stretch the ankle part on your boot.
