    • In this method, you are deleting the actual photos off your phone or tablet. When you take a picture, one copy remains on your phone or tablet and the other is uploaded into the cloud. Follow the steps to make sure you've backed up and synced before deleting any pictures from your phone or tablet.

    • In this method, you'll turn off backup and sync to cloud and only have a copy of your photos on your device.
  2. You'll see this in the top left corner of your screen.

  5. If not, tap the switch to turn it off and all the photos taken on your phone or tablet will not be synced to the cloud.
