While you can always email them , that’s not the only option. This wikiHow teaches you how to share photos from an Android phone or tablet to an iPhone.
Easiest Ways to Send Photos from Android to iPhone
- If you’re transferring your entire photo gallery to a new iPhone, use the Move to iOS app.
- You can also set up an iCloud account or use a similar cloud service to sync your photos between devices.
- To send photos from your Android to a contact who uses iPhone, try sharing photos in Google Photos or Dropbox. Or, try a third-party messaging app.

Install Move to iOS on your Android device. Move to iOS is an Android app developed by Apple. It’s designed to help you easily transfer data, including photos, from an Android phone or tablet to an iPhone or other iOS device. - If you’re unable to download Move to iOS from the Google Play store, you can download the APK from the Apple website and install it manually .
- Only use this method if you’re setting up a new iPhone. If your iPhone is already set up, you’ll have to erase it and start over in order to do this.
- Before you start, look at the specs for your new iPhone and make sure it has enough space for all the photos and any other files you want to move over.

Plug in your Android and your iPhone. The devices will both need to be connected to power and placed close to each other for the transfer to work.

Turn on your new iPhone and select Set Up Without Another Device . Follow the prompts on your screen to begin setting up your new iPhone.

Select From Android on the Transfer Your Apps & Data screen. Partway through the setup process, you’ll be offered the option to transfer apps and data from a backup or another device. Select From Android .

Open the Move to iOS app on your Android. Tap Continue .

Enable location and notification permissions if prompted. Tap Continue after you make each selection.

Tap Continue on your iPhone. At this point, you should see a Move from Android screen on your iPhone. Tap Continue . A 6-digit code will appear on the screen.

Enter the code on your Android. When the code appears on your iPhone screen, enter it on your Android device.

Connect to the temporary Wi-Fi network on your Android when prompted. Your iPhone will create a temporary Wi-Fi network to make the transfer. Tap Connect on your Android to join it.
