Syncing your PS4 Controller to the Console

  • Via USB: Turn on the PS4. Attach a USB cable from the console to the controller. Hold down the controller’s PS button (in the center) for three seconds to sync.
  • Wirelessly: Press the PS button on an already connected controller. Navigate to “Settings.” Press “X” to select. Navigate to “Devices” and press “X” to select. Select the “Bluetooth Devices” menu option. On the new controller, hold down “Share” and the PS button for 5 seconds. Select the new device’s name on the screen and press “X” to sync.
