Hey everybody!

I worked on the wikiHow staff for several years, and I hope to be involved in one way or another with this project for years to come. This community is full of dedicated, knowledgeable, and helpful people from all walks of life working towards our mission. I've worked in several areas of education in the past, and I've always been a fan of combining teaching and technology. I love the power that wikis have to bring people together to improve learning and resources: On top of being educational, the process and collaborative nature is just plain fun :)

I'm British-born but US-raised. I travel across the US and to the UK to see family from time to time, but mostly I'm a homebody. I love going on walks in the forest and around my neighborhood with my family and binge-watching Netflix, Hulu, and HGTV shows.

My family keeps me pretty busy these days, so I'm not as active in the community as I used to be. If you have questions about wikiHow or our community, you'll get a quicker answer from the Help Team. If you want to catch up, though, feel free to drop me a line on my talk page for the next time I drop by!

I am awarding Anna this Barnstar for being the trooper that she is. She always presents the community with beyond-superb edits, yet appearing cool and collected at other times. She's helped out in numerous projects and countless ways in getting things done otherwise. Keep up the great work! Thanks. Enjoy this barnstar.

  • From Alex:

Ambassador in the wikiHow Community

Even though situations can get rough at times, Anna is always here to help out and set things right again. You know how to always assume the best of people, even when others would find it difficult to do so, and know how to help someone get back on the right track even after they've seriously derailed and feel like giving up. Your mastery of helping others while not letting personal feelings interfere with professional settings is a skill to look up to and learn from - not just for one, but for many. Thank you for everything you do for wikiHow and those who contribute to it, and for helping to prove to many, many people that their work and voices are valued in the community!

  • From Mattheus:

wikiHow Contributor with a Good Sense of Humor

Anna, this is something you have deserved for a long time. You are the sweetest and funniest wikiHower I have met. You put that first smile on my face when I joined this project and you have made me happy sense. You guided me through the dark with your encouragement and funniness. This is my way of saying thanks!

  • From Vish:

Dedicated wikiHow Contributor

Anna, you are so consistent in answering questions, often the same questions time and again to different editors and sometimes the same. You do everything possible to be a responsible and honest Community Coordinator. I am glad wikiHow found you and we have you to ask our questions and sometimes, share our joys and sorrows. Your quality of balancing your messages and controlled tone are treasurable. I know the drama I created about merging and redirecting and how gracefully you made it seem like nothing. You cover up our embarrassments and never bring them up. These are the qualities of a fine woman who embodies the true spirit of wikiHow.

The "Maybe one day" barnstar goes to User:Anna because she knows everything must happen "Maybe one day" 😂

On a more serious note, I would like to thank you for being an awesome community manager. You made sure that I knew all of the ins and outs of wikiHow when I first started. You also appreciate my (kind of terrible) humo(u)r. You also gave me useful feedback on my articles that I could maybe apply to future wikiHow articles and made sure that we all enjoyed our time on this site. With only a few weeks until you go on leave? or step down from your position as community manager? I don't know, but any way, you deserve a lot of appreciation and we cannot thank you enough for the treatment you have given us.

Good luck Anna, and thank you for your contributions to this amazing place. wikiHow won't be the same without you. Awesome Aasim
