Just wanted to express my appreciation for this forum post you wrote! Working in healthcare makes me realize and appreciate the importance of kindness. I genuinely enjoy helping people as well, because we're all humans. I've been a part of wikiHow since 2011 and I'm constantly blown away at how friendly our community is, when compared to other websites like Reddit and Wikipedia.

*cries*It's always hard to say goodbye. People always say that, and I haven't really ever believed them, until I've had to experience saying goodbye to someone I know very well. Turns out that's right now. I remember, in my first month or so here, seeing you edit and thinking, "Wow, you must have been here for a very long time already," seeing the kindness and great sense of humor you have, and your diligence in editing, patrolling, and keeping wikiHow great. I was shocked to know that you joined around the same time as me, that we were pretty much both on the very same level, just getting our feet wet and getting started. Of course, I didn't discover the forums until right around now, so I was always curious if you were active on the forums. And of course you were. I started playing forums games, saying my piece in the chat section, and most of all, striving to become a better editor. You may already know I had tons of ups and downs, mostly downs, on my first couple weeks of editing. At one point, I almost lost pretty much all faith in becoming even an iota better. Seeing someone pretty much at the very same point at their editing journey, never giving up, striving to become better with every click of the "Publish" or "Post" button. Putting it simply, seeing you edit restored my faith in becoming a better editor here. Then, by chance, we met. I think it was playing forum games or something, or one of us must have messaged each other on our talk pages. Anyways, we opened a can of worms (figuratively in a very good way) that could never be shut again. we started talking more on the forums, giving each other more cookies than anyone could even eat, and just generally being friends. Seriously, some of my favorite wikiMemories are me doing stuff with you, particularly the Uno game we played the other day. Seriously, some of these things you just can't do with another wikiHowian, I just felt that something with both of us, that we were meant to be friends. I honestly feel like I know you in real life, even though I don't. I guess we just know each other that well. But then, of course, we became welcomers on the EXACT. SAME. DAY. And a couple weeks later we gave each other the EXACT. SAME. BARNSTAR. at the EXACT. SAME. TIME. This just reinforced, in my mind, that we were definitely meant to be friends. After that, wikiHow was just so much better having you as a wikiFriend. I didn't think any of this would happen. This isn't your fault though. I'll repeat: None of this was your fault. I'm normally very emotional and pretty weird, so this was merely a byproduct of my extremely emotional self. And by this, I'm not trying to pressure you into staying longer or not leaving, that is entirely your choice and up to you. It's probably not ideal, and I'm sure either of us would have loved to both stay on wikiHow for years on end, pretty sure until forever, but I guess it will be fine. I'll miss you sooooo much, and wikiHow may be a little different, but I know it's for the best, and I want only the best for my best wikiFriend. I hope after your last day here you'll come back in a while. I'm doing very well, especially right now. I'm a little bummed because I started that crochet project that I mentioned, but I didn't think ahead too well. I made sure I had another, I looked at the second roll and it had the same name, but when I needed it, I found out it had a tint of green instead of blue. Bummer. How are you doing? Aww honey, it warms my heart so much that I've made such a positive and lasting impact on you. I know exactly how it feels to struggle with low self-confidence. Hi Reep! You are so welcome! And I ought to thank God that I caught your username on the “Introduce yourself!” thread. “Last post by Reepicheep. Wow, that person must be a Narnia fan too!” I thought to myself as I saw it. Since we’re both musicians (You do the clarinet, right? I do the piano and violin, as you probably already know.), that made our wikiFriendship even more special. I didn’t tell you this for all these months, but I’m likely an ADHDer too, though of the inattentive subtype. And it thrilled me to know you’re also a Christian!
