At the wikiHaus the other day, I was reminiscing about how we used to have to raise the alarm in the forums pretty often over some really “stormy weather” for RC. Seeing the queue get into the thousands wasn’t rare, by any means. It’s kind of mind-blowing that we’ve had essentially sunny skies consistently for many months now.

Because we haven’t had the need to raise an “alarm” in a while, we also haven’t taken enough opportunities to celebrate our patrolling successes… and I haven’t taken enough chances to THANK YOU ALL for the tireless efforts on wikiHow’s front lines. 

Sunny skies don’t just happen - it takes an incredible crew of patrollers to keep quality high for readers. You guys not only review edits with a “quality over quantity” focus, but also Quick Edit to improve articles, tag topics that need further help, reach out to help newbies, and do it all with a smile and an assumption of good faith… It’s no easy task.

To celebrate properly, I pulled a list of people who’ve been patrolling significantly in the last month… Whether you’re a patrolling pro or are just learning the ropes, your willingness to help our mission along is amazing. How is it that teams celebrate in places other than Internet communities? Something like this? We should do a football-inspired patrolling can-can.
