Yesterday, Anna asked me if I was open to writing a guide on how to use this wonderful tool - LaTeX <math></math> - that is already widely used in academia. I was initially hesitant to do it, considering the plethora of guides available elsewhere, but we realized that they may seem overwhelming to the average reader.

So I have compiled a guide on the basics.

This guide outlines the most common tools and operations used. I may be missing some other things, so feel free to chat me for suggestions on improving the guide:slight_smile:

This is very cool. Nice work!

@Atheia this is awesome!! And you’re quick too- wow! This is going to be a super useful resource and save the likes of me from getting oh so lost in long Latex and MediaWiki guides, hah. It’s great to have the wikiHow/math-extension focused version just for us, from someone who knows it so well. Big kudos and many thanks for putting it together:slight_smile:

Thanks! This is really helpful!

Wow @ Atheia thanks for all your hard work on this and I shall be keeping a copy of this ‘how to’.

I don’t tend to need math information, but I’ll keep it in mind, if I ever discover something that will need Math information written.

Very useful — I didn’t know you could write matrices this way.
