I’ve been trying to get a profile picture, but my attempts have been thwarted. I’ve tried both pictures I got off the Internet and pictures I’ve taken myself. Not quite sure what the problem is. Here’s basically what happens: I set off to add picture, click Browse button, find and select jpg picture, image shows up but does not have cropping option, I click “Crop and Save,” I am informed “File could not be downloaded.” :?
Interesting. I added my profile picture like, I don’t know, a month ago, maybe. Something could have broke in that time, I’m sure.
It did the same thing to me. It is a bug in Safari; switching to a different browser will fix it (assuming that you have a Mac and that you use Safari.)
Sometimes it’s the image itself. The image might be too big for the cropping.
@TheMartian
- I’ve tried it on Internet Explorer and it didn’t work . . . I’ll try Firefox. @Connor
Fleming - that’s what I would think, but I’ve tried it with enough pictures that I’m getting suspicious. Off to try again. . .

Hi Twoscompany, There’s a bug that we think may affect only users with an apostrophe or other uncommon characters in their usernames right now. We’ve filed this, but we wanted to let you know because we think that your case is quite rare, unfortunately. Reuben

I’ve asked to see if Twoscompany would like their username changed to remove the apostrophe…maybe this could help!
