http://www.wikihow.com/Catch-Any-Pokemon-in-Pokemon-Emerald-Using-GameShark-Codes Readers are saying the codes in this article aren’t working and the instructions are incorrect. I also found this edit ( http://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Catch-Any-Pokemon-in-Pokemon-Emerald-Using-GameShark-Codes&diff=prev&oldid=16965639 ) saying the article is a scam. Tagging known Pokemon-ers: @GeekySonic @Lugia2453 @OoT2D , and @Krystle as well since she’s coordinating the article verification project:wink:

I’ll give it a whirl. I’ll have to do it tomorrow; time’s almost up in multi-media class.

Thanks for the ping @Illneedasaviour .

Hmmm…although I don’t own Pokemon Emerald, I would never trust any gameshark stuff.

*gathers names for a future Pokemon verification project*

*pssst, no gameshark here, but I’m a Pokemon addict lol*

^ Same applies:wink:

Haha, thanks guys. GameShark seems to have some unreliability, so I placed an {{accuracy}} tag on it.

Cheating devices in general can be unreliable. One bad encounter code in that game can result in a Bad Egg, which can corrupt game files.

Welp, it didn’t work. I had a lot of trouble loading GameShark, and it froze and closed a lot on its own. I was unable to complete the task, and I highly recommend that players that want to apply cheats stick with an Action Replay.

I know a lot about the games but this is new to me. My brother used Gameshark one it once and it didn’t work so we never touched it again
