Recently I’ve been noticing that FA’s are getting sort of ignored for a long time, this means that our ‘master’ articles are easily vandalized and that the rest of the world sees it which means bad news for us. Tonight I was shocked to find out that there were 31 FA’s not checked. Some of them were even from 8h ! hours ago. It could have been a coincidence but still bad advertising for wikiHow.

Good catch…went ahead and patrolled some of them, but there may still be a few left in RC. It’s also a lot easier to spot this kind of thing with one of the wikiHow toolbars, which show the unpatrolled FA count.

Yup, the toolbar is how I do it. I have the original wikiHow toolbar installed on Firefox. http://www.wikihow.com/Use-the-wikiHow-Editor’s-Toolbar But since I mostly use Chrome now, I don’t see the FAs much anymore. We may have to build some other software feature to solve this problem.

The monkey stays mad a lot more nowadays… I’ve found FA’s vandalized over 20 hours ago when logging in to patrol.

We’ve started to fall behind again with patrolling; there’s sometimes over 500 unpatrolled edits, which means that the FAs are falling behind too. I generally try to check them, but I’ve been AFK the last few days and really busy the past few weeks. But yeah. Good thing to remember to look at.

Patrol count is low as of now.

True, true. It’s coming back to normal-ish.
