When you try to create a new article in the article creator , if you enter in a special character, it won’t add it to the title. While this is probably a good thing with most special characters, it can cause issues with certain kinds of articles. For example, it ignores plus (+) signs. This can cause an issue where someone writes an article about C++. There may also be other legitimate article titles that use the + symbol. Also, it ignores some other symbols, but it’s probably a good thing that it does that. Is it possible for the article creator to support plus signs, but to continue to ignore the other symbols?

The article creator does support Parentheses, so hopefully a plus sign can also easily be supported, but I’m not sure.

Curious, I think this might be a bug because we have other articles with + in the title and I haven’t seen it be an issue before. Filing for eng to look into:slight_smile:
