Backstory: A new user asked me how to give out cookies (the template). I sent them a link, then I clicked on it and it said “Bad title”

Has this ever happened before? What is causing it?

The link that you sent was probably formatted incorrectly.

I just checked your contributions, and it was indeed a formatting mistake on your side. You wrote: [https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Cookies| This link] . However, external links are done without the | , like this: [https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Cookies This link] . Because you are linking to a wikiHow article, you can also use internal link format, which does use the | : [[Make-Cookies|This link]]

Please check for such things before submitting a bug report.
