I see quite a few articles that ‘need further attention’. My personal goal has been to reduce these. A LOT of times, the articles just need relateds. However, sometimes they don’t. That can be for: * Article has a template on it * Just because it wants to (what that means, is I can’t figure it out). Does anyone know??? To see what I mean, just check out a Category. That’s what I’m wondering too.
Word count. It rings a bell that a low word count can move an article into this section. My User Page used to ‘need attention’ in one of the Admin categories.
Lol. Anyways, that explains it.

Ok. That doesn’t explain it. This is one of the articles there. http://www.wikihow.com/Get-Famous-on-Club-Penguin

It’s not in the “Articles That Require Further Editing”. It’s a ‘regular’ article on the second page. Because there are over 200 articles in that category, it ‘floods’ to the next page, but it’s not one of the 33 “needs more editing” articles.

There’s a wide variety of templates that can trigger an article to go into the “needs further attention” section of a category. There is also a lag from when the article has a template removed, and when it actually stops showing up in that section (it is not immediate). If you see an article in that section that does not have any templates, though, and hasn’t had any templates for over a week, that is probably a bug. Post the title here and I’ll look into it.
