Take your statement, machine-translate it to Chinese, then back to English.
Example:
"Translate your statement, machine into Chinese, then return to English.
example:"
Thank you…xiè xie…Thank you…
Original: this is a cool forum idea, since chinese syntax makes for hilarious translations! Sometimes things in Chinese especially just can’t be translated to English (personal experience here).
In traditional Chinese: 這是一個很酷的論壇的想法,因為中文語法使歡鬧的翻譯!有時候,中文裡的東西尤其不能被翻譯成英語(這裡的個人經歷)。
Back to English: This is a cool forum concept because Chinese grammar makes it very interesting for people to translate! Sometimes things in Chinese cannot be translated into English (in this case, personal experience)
Eh, close enough.
Original: I love wikiHow, it is my favorite thing to do!
Chinese (Traditional): 我喜歡wikiHow,這是我最喜歡的事情!
Back to English: I like wikiHow. This is my favorite thing!
On international nurses day I learnt that nurse has two characters in Chinese, soldier and protect. 在国际护士日,我了解到护士有两个汉字,士兵和保护角色。 On International Nurses Day, I learned that the nurse has two Chinese characters, soldiers and protection roles.

This is a cool concept by Malinda Kathleen Reese called Google Translate sings. I’ll translate it back and forth a few times in other languages too, and then back to Chinese then English.
Input: My battery is currently on 15 percent.
Output: There are currently 15 issues.
Solid.
@Tiagoroth
I get this on Bing Translate:
My battery is currently in 15%.
Input: Bing translate is not as good as Google translate for comedy purposes.
Output: Google searches are good.

That translation might be biased…ha.
Input: Honestly, based on my skills at deciphering Chinese, I will try to pick something that is difficult to translate, making it funny. I used to spend a lot of time laughing at badly translated sentences that were translated through multiple languages.
Output: In fact, based on my ability to translate Chinese, I tried to pick hard-to-translate content. Many languages translate well and spend a lot of time.
Results: The first sentence was okay. The last one…uh…not so much.
Original: Our sized map receives the viewpoint. Another faucet rocks across the dusty saga.
Chinese: 我們的大小地圖收到了觀點。 另一個水龍頭穿過塵土飛揚的傳奇。
Back to English: Our size map received opinions. Another tap goes through the dusty legend.

@Batreeq
How does a faucet rock (like in a rocking chair? In a rock concert?) through a dusty story? Poor Google Translate.
Original: I am the 12th comment on this thread.
Chinese: 我是这个帖子的第十二条评论。
Arabic: انا التعليق 12th علي هذا المنصب.
Back to English: I comment 12th on this post.
Original: In relativistic terms, the closer to the speed of light you come, the denser you get.
Traditional Chinese: 用相對論的術語來說,你接近光的速度越快,就越密。
Back to English: In relativity terms, the faster you approach light, the denser it is.
Traditional Chinese again: 用相對論來說,你接近光的速度越快,密度就越高。
Back to English the second time: In theory of relativity, the faster you approach light, the higher the density.
It got better! Actually got it more right than the original English! I am amazed!
This is kind of fun. It sure is a great time waster, isn’t it? But who cares about that?
這很有趣。它確實是一個浪費時間,不是嗎?但誰在乎呢?
It's interesting. It really is a waste of time, isn't it? But who cares?
Original: This is my first post on this thread. Chinese (traditional): 這是我在這個主題上的第一篇文章。 Back to English: This is my first article on this topic. Interesting. More like something I would say on wikiHow, not the forums.
I’ll say something longer this time because the last thing I said was pretty boring.
這次我會說更多的話,因為我說的最後一件事很無聊。
I will say more this time because the last thing I said is boring.
*Gasp* the translation uses bad grammar! #grammarnazi

I tried going onto Chinese Wikipedia and using a translator to put it in (abysmal) English. The translator was like those translators in Google that automatically translate pages.
Original (in Chinese): The production of charcoal-cooked Hong Kong pancake. The egg batter is poured in a honeycomb-shaped iron mold plate and is covered with the cover of another mold. This can be put on a charcoal stove for baking.
Translator: The production of the charcoal roast egg seed. Egg pulp poured in a honeycomb-shaped iron mold plate after the cover of another piece of mold, you can put on a charcoal stove baking.
I don’t think egg seeds are a thing, and neither is egg pulp. The page also had something about “chicken cake”. I think the translator got it wrong because the food is literally called “little chicken eggs” but people in English call it “Hong Kong pancake”.
English Untranslated: Life is amazing. Amazing, but scary.
Chinese: 生活是驚人的。 令人驚嘆,但可怕。 (Shēnghuó shì jīngrén de. Lìng rén jīngtàn, dàn kěpà)
English Translated: Life is amazing. Stunning, but terrible.
WTH?
That went downhill.
