As the Designated Human™ of a black cat when I was growing up, every day should be Black Cat Appreciation Day.

i’m trying to use this as an excuse to share a photo of her but discourse won’t process the image for some reason

TBH, I don’t believe in those kinds of superstitions. Nothing unlucky has ever happened to me on Friday the 13th, and black cats are cute , like all cats.:cat:

There’s a superstition in some cultures that black cats are a sign of bad luck, but that’s primarily a Western one. Other cultures actually consider black cats to be a sign of good luck:slight_smile:
