Hello everyone, I recently cleaned up the Community Topic Areas page
and I noticed that there are many users on wikiHow that are not on that page.
Before I continue, I should probably provide some background on that page. The Community Topic Areas page
is designed to help us connect with one another when we need advice on certain topics here on wikiHow. On the page, you can see listings of categories with users who know about the categories listed next to them. This can come in handy for when you need help with an edit, or if you want to verify something that you read here on wikiHow.
To add yourself, simply edit the page ( here
is a link) and add a link to your userpage. If you know about a category that isn’t listed on the page, then feel free to add it. ( here
is a link to the category tree). If you know that you are already on that page, then I would recommend still going through and update your listings.
You can also add this page to your MyLinks so that you can quickly lookup users who have knowledge in a particular area when you need to.
Of course, this is all optional and you don’t have to add you name if you don’t want to, I just wanted to make this post so that anybody who didn’t know about this page, and remind anybody who forgot about it’s existence, so that they can learn about it and decide if they want to add their name to it.
That’s a great idea, R2 - I’ll go ahead and look through the list
EDIT: I added my user

Wow, I didn’t know that page existed! That’s very useful and thanks for the heads up! I’ll add my name
EDIT: I added my name too and some categories
That’s so cool! I’ll definitely add my name to some. Wish I knew about it before!
Interesting, no idea of such page…I added my name and some categories as well.
