@Krystle , I noted in the discussion page that it may be worth getting legal input. While the policy is “universally illegal”, US law might supersede. For example, the DMCA makes it illegal for a website to link to any program that decrypts copy protection. As far as I know, this is not universally illegal. Perhaps it’s worth editing the policy to note that wikiHow complies with US law (and California law or wherever the server resides). I am not a lawyer so my understanding may be outdated/incorrect.

@Krystle , I am not a lawyer so I don’t know if there are any laws specifically regarding directions on how to use marijuana. To be clear, I don’t think this law would apply to the article in question. Simply wondering if the policy regarding “universally illegal” should be revised to indicate that US laws will always supersede.

@Linus We have a separate deletion criteria for recreational drug use, so an article on using marijuana would be deleted for that.
