Am I a good person?
Or is there a few things I can work on?
Please, give me your straight up honesty.
Don’t lie and say I’m perfect if you despise me.
I love you all very much.
Well, it’s definitely pathetic that someone would call your edits bad, because that’s not what wikiHow is about. It’s about giving constructive critisism, not ignorance and being mean. Anyways, take a break if you have to. No one is forcing you to stay.
@The_Magic_Rabbit
, nobody has told you that your edits aren’t the best or that your comments aren’t true. You were messaged most recently due to accuracy concerns when coaching other users. Because inaccurate or inappropriate coaching can confuse, upset, or even drive away new users, you were asked to refrain from coaching for the time being. If you feel that I or other editors have been rude to you, I apologize, but these are really critical things to get right. The thing about wikiHow is that we try to keep a friendly, welcoming community, but at the same time, we don’t praise every good edit we come across - we’d end up swarmed and overmessaged if we did. Editors who expect every change they make to be given a TU or praised are usually disappointed rather quickly. People contribute for the reward of having helped others, and getting recognition from others is just a bonus
However, making threads like these and threatening to be rude to other users are not kind or encouraged actions. When you have an issue with another editor, please resolve it with the editor in question rather than posting about it in the forums or talking to others publicly about it. Posting publicly about these situations is more likely to push other editors away from you. Take a break if you need to, but please do not use your depression as a reason to be rude to people. You are still accountable for your actions even if you have a mental health problem.
Thanks. I believe I owe you an apology. I’m sorry.

@The-_Magic_Rabbit
I hope you are feeling a little better now.
I hope so. Might’ve been a stress attack, or panic attack.
I had YET ANOTHER depression incident two days ago. I am going to see a doctor in two weeks about it.
Okay, I’m going to stop you both right there. Actual depression, anxiety, and panic attacks are absolutely nothing like either of you describe. Claiming to have a mental health problem that you actually do not have is not okay, especially since we have people on the wiki who have those disorders (and more!), and you wouldn’t know it unless they told you. If you’re having problems with your mental health, I empathize. I’ve had those problems myself. But it’s not okay to claim you’re having “depression attacks” (which are not a thing), panic attacks, or other mental health problems when you don’t have them. That’s incredibly disrespectful to the people who do have those mental health conditions.

Time to stop this I think. @ Galactic Radiance
made some very pertinent points.
Alrighty. Well, I call them stress attacks/ frustration attacks ((which in I don’t know how I came up with that)).
She told me on email that she has been diagnosed. I’m leaving and not posting anymore. See you on email, @The_Magic_Rabbit

Mental illnesses are a serious issue and need to be taken care of privately, not broadcasted to all of the World Wide Web. Talking about mental health problems on the forums is uncomfortable for everyone and can be seriously upsetting for some people.
If you are feeling down and need to talk to a friend, please do so privately. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, reach out to a crisis hotline
or emergency services
. If you feel like your mental state affects your quality of life, get help and talk to a licensed mental health professional.
Thank you.
