I was searching for an article when I saw this: Category:Makeup I was surprised when I read below that it has 1 step and not more than 100 views. Is it a bug or something?

http://www.wikihow.com/Category:Makeup I see no bug at all. You must have seen an incomplete article being categorized.

Nope. I was searching an article and it came up as “Makeup”. Go and search the search bar and type “Apply Makeup” and not http://www.wikihow.com/Category:Makeup . You will see it.

Could you take a screenshot and show me what’s wrong? I am not getting any error whatsoever. This is what I can see, and I do not see any bug here:

Maybe she’s referring to this? :But that link again, goes to the category and not to an article. Could you provide a screenshot/screencast, Ima?

I can’t see the problem?

This is what I see…

It is a category, not an article.

I think she’s just wondering why it says “1 steps” ?

Yes:)

Hmm…That’s pretty odd. Tagging @Krystle and @Anna .

Thanks :Dk

Thanks for the heads-up, guys. This is just a quirk of the search - subcategories show up that way. I know it looks a little funky! Main categories display the right way, but subcategories do this - it’s not ideal, but I think most folks figure out what they’re looking for, regardless. I’ll put it on the list for future to see if it can be fixed next time the engineers are working on the search feature. Thanks!

Thanks a lot, Anna! Admin, do we need a close?
