Article stats is a tool that appears in the “Editing Tools” of every article. An example link is: http://www.wikihow.com/Special:Articlestats/Stop-Emotional-Eating But here is a question? Does anyone use it? As always, we are looking to streamline our code by removing features that don’t get enough use. Can someone let me know if they are using this? And how often? And if so, I’d be curious to hear some of its best uses.

I haven’t looked at these for a long time. Were they useful in Accuracy Patrol? No, not now I’ve reminded myself about that… we use this: http://www.wikihow.com/Special:AccuracyPatrol But, Article Stats are referenced from here: http://www.wikihow.com/Fact-Check-a-wikiHow-Article

I check it once in a while to see how accurate the article seems to be according to readers. It’s easier to pinpoint that particular article rather than looking through: http://www.wikihow.com/Special:AccuracyPatrol But I wouldn’t be too upset if it was taken away; I don’t use it all too often.

I rarely use it nowadays than I had in the past.

I never even knew we had that. O_O

Nope. I rely on critical reading of the article as I believe is usual for any editor. There is a lot of subjective guessing going on with accuracy ratings that can hide a lot of never explained reasons.

I check it occasionally for one of my own articles, but that is really very occasionally.

I’ve used it only occasionally as well.

I hardly use it.

I use it sometimes.

I use it occasionally. The incoming links count is nice, but also available elsewhere. I look at accuracy ratings too, but usually find them confusing since I can’t even tell which version is allegedly inaccurate.

When I found out about it, it was already gone. I kind of wish there was a link at the bottom of the article that appears after you vote on its accuracy that allows you to view the current results of the article’s accuracy votes. This way the author and editors have further knowledge on what the readers think about the accuracy of the article, especially if the editor is thinking about nominating it as a Featured Article Cantidate.

I used it maybe once…

Very rarely do I use it…

Please don’t bump old threads.
