On the Community Dashboard, the ✓ Done Today thing pops up on tools that I didn’t use that day.

I have also noticed this on the latest version of Chrome on a Windows 7 laptop with and without Illysium’s extension after clearing my cache and forcing refresh.
I have the same issue! It says that I’ve done it on Answer Requests and occasionally the Image Picker tool, neither of which I do. I use Safari (on an iPad, if that matters).
Umm, I believe that does not signify whether you’ve done it today, but rather if as a whole we’ve met a daily goal for that thing to be done.
Actually, all you have to do is visit the link for it to say “Done Today”. You don’t even have to do anything.
