Hi all,Yesterday the team made an engineering fix for a cookie issue that may have had some knock-on effects. If you happen to notice anything a bit unusual - perhaps an error message when you try to publish an edit, or not being able to log out - we recommend that you delete all wikiHow cookies, restart your browser and log in again. That seems to help reset things. Reuben is currently looking for a fix to the bug, but in the meantime, that might be your best option!

If you want to note anything unusual you’ve spotted, feel free to do so in a comment below:slight_smile:

For anyone interested in just deleting wikiHow cookies from Chrome, this is how I did it: Go to Chrome settings > search for “See all cookies and site data” > search for wikihow.com > click on the trash icon next to that. Then restart Chrome.

Thanks for letting us know, dear Jayne.
I wasn’t able to change the date of the inuse tag on my article. I figured it must be a temporary bug. So, I didnt worry about it. Nor my patrols on the RCP showed when I refreshed the browser.

If the problem persists, I will follow the steps that you have mentioned.
Also, thanks dear @Reuben for working on fixing the issue.

Yes I found that out yesterday night. My house had a temporary power outage, so I copied + pasted my article (still inuse) onto a Word doc. After it was over, I found out that I couldn’t edit my article. I tried to sign out and sign in again but the button didn’t work for some reason. So I cleared out my cookies and signed in again.

I had a similar problem with fixing some typos in the article How to Dress to Meet a Boy for the First Time . An error message appeared after I attempted to edit the article to do that. After doing the suggested workaround, I successfully edited the article without any problems. I hope this bug will have a full fix.

When will be available a full fix for that bug?

This reminds me of the question “How long is a piece of string?”:smiley:I’m not sure, but if I get further info I’ll be sure to share it!

@Agusbou2015 could you please let me know if/how it’s still impacting you on the site? Thanks!

One bug I’ve been noticing was when I clicked on someone’s contribs from their user page for example or any other links on there, it opens up in a different tab than their user page.

Update, fixed.
