Under the “Notify me about these events” header in the Notifications tab in Preferences, selecting to receive Fan Mail notifications via email does not work. I have had this enabled for the entire time that I have been on wikiHow, and I have never received an email notification for Fan Mail. It’s possible that this is not intended to be a feature, but if that is the case, then the check box should be unselected and greyed out, or at least not the default setting.
For the second one you mentioned, i got a wikiHow email and i got notified via the bar. The one i received kept the ‘wikiHow rnail’ as the subject line and i was notified via the webs red flags in top right corner. Want me to send you one soon as a tester?

Got it, I did get the notification. The email that I got must have been directly sent to my email, but I didn’t notice. I will remove the second issue from the post. Thank you.

I tested this during the week and waited for some fan mail! I also did not receive an email notification. Thanks for letting us know, R2!
