So, a bit of background: There’s an advice blog for transgender youth that also posts “good vibes” posts- submissions by readers of happy gender-related posts. This was posted there. (In order to protect the identity of everyone involved [i.e. prevent a google search to find this], this post is not word-for-word.) "So, some friends were over and we were hanging out, and one of them was on his phone. I told him to get off Reddit, and he said “I’m not on Reddit, look!”. He was on wikiHow, and the article he was on was “How to Respect a Transgender Person. :)” So I just wanted to show you guys that we really do have an impact- this person was really happy their friend cared enough to read that (or was open enough to the idea- I don’t know if they are out).
