(Although I don’t have my wikiBirthday until November 21/22, I made this in advance)

On July 30th, I rejoined wikiHow with this edit . That decision? Probably one of the best I’ve done.

I can’t believe how quick my wikiHow life had turned out to be. When I made that edit, my mind went back to help you guys have your edits patrolled, along with many other tools. Behind the other wikiHowians that managed and helped me during my return, I am thankful and honored. As I turn three in wikiHow, I’m now considered a Veteran - and (myself) as a masterful patroller. No matter how I began with a deleted article (Use Mighty Mixer), a patrolled edit that would turn into 50,000 more , or anything else, I’d never forgotten that wikiHow has a mission - to make everyone learn something on every topic. But, my patrolling would step in as one of the ways to contribute here, as I reverted every spec of spam and vandalizing in articles. In the end, my one decision to even make an account on wikiHow worked - and I say thanks to my own mind by doing so.

I would like to give a few shoutouts here, as they have been responsible for turning around my wikiHow journey -

@EJQuotes - As one of the best wikiHowian patrollers, he’s focusing to get my top spot as a leader in patrolling, and I admire his courage to keep going.
@BoundlessElise - She’s the wikiHowian that you can give advice on. On the other side, coaching. On all cylinders, she’s a great worker that strives on future roles and tasks, and I thank her for the coaching that she gave me - that’s how I’ll improve from years to come.
@Snowflakeiesta -This wikiHowian has been friendly, helpful, and nice to ensure our mission. Thanks to her welcoming nature and our first encounter together (which would turn to more in the forums), this return would have been short-lived without her.
@SarahB - I know she’s not active in the wikiHow community, but she coached me through learning the NFD tags when I began my wikiHow journey. I’d like to say thank you - without Sarah, I would have never started off perfectly for days to come.
@JayneG - When Anna left to take care of her family - a new Community BFF came inside. This would be one of the friendliest people I would check on wikiHow, and when I do something that may confuse readers and writers - she steps in to tell what I’m doing wrong. From myself and others, we thank you for helping the community thick and thin. (Also, no non-NFD tags unless it’s a booster!)
@everyoneElse - At most, we’ve met each other in the forums, when you were recommended from your editing, or when I came in to give you advice on patrolling. On either side, I treated you with kindness and respect. If your reading this thread, thank you for your hard work!

I also didn’t forget someone else - and that is @FlowerPower555 . I also wish her a happy wikiBirthday for the first time, and I’m grateful for the contributions she stepped in while I was gone. I heard that she decided to leave the community earlier, but decided to step back in. I then decided to update her on what occurred while she was gone, and then she made improvements to have her second FA! We are proud of FP555, and happy wikiBirthday for you!

I did leave something on my User page that I would barnstar someone due to my third wikiBirthday. If you click on this detail arrow down below, here’s the recipient:

The barnstar!

We will award @R2_d2000 a barnstar, thanks to his wonderful patrolling skills, and much more. I’ll be issuing you a barnstar on the 21st, so take a good peek that day to see a new barnstar!

Overall, this decision I made a few months ago was an act of call for me - and to other wikiHowians later. To all of my patrolling - readers are thanking me. To my kindness towards others - my wikiFriends are thanking me. To my future roles (as a Welcomer and Booster at some point) - I thank myself for starting a comeback campaign. If this didn’t happen, wikiHow wouldn’t be the same without me, and therefore, you can wish me and FP555 a wikiBirthday, for many more days, months, and years to come.
