I first got into it at around April 2010 when I was looking up some how-to. Then as I looked up more how-to’s I noticed that a large number were coming from wikiHow, so in July I signed up. I didn’t really do a lot on wikiHow, but then a month later I decided to go on again-just to see what it was like. And from then on. I never logged off.

lol i decided to look up what to draw when your bored because im an artist and i found and awsome article and turns out i drew an amazing sketch and now im going to sell it on ebay for a few bucks but i gota find my camera charger first… i decided to join because people where saying mean things about the articla and i found it useful so i wanted to post something good about it

Just curious one day… idle Googling brought up wikiHow. Registered, read the help links, been enjoying it off an on ever since.
I wanted to know how to cosplay as Princess Peach one year, because my little sister was going to go as peach, and me as daisy, so I googled it and I clicked on a hyperlink to wikiHow. I read the article, I thought it was awesome so I created an account. I didn’t use it for a while though.
Was there any need for that?

Awesome thread! I love learning about how people discovered wikiHow. For me, Jack one day asked me on the phone “Are you familiar with Wikipedia? Do you know how that site works?” and then he told me about how he was going to start wikiHow.
Researching Pokemon stragedies and saw wikiHow come up. I read the article and signed up!

I found wikiHow sometime back in 2008 or 2009 through Google search. I browsed some articles from time to time, but didn’t really acquire enough interest to join until early last year…and the rest is history.
