Patrol recent changes is weird. Yet, its what we need.

Patrol Recent changes is weird yes. But it’s needed - as you said too. In Patrol Recent Changes, we check every edit that comes through (except for those few exceptional people - Admins and Staff - who choose to have theirs turned off) for a bunch of reasons and to sort out the good edits from the not so great to the inconveniently bad ones. You take a look at how it can be used by reading: https://www.wikihow.com/Patrol-Recent-Changes-on-wikiHow

Ohhhh, thank you so much! That’s how you tell whom to block, and that’s why excessive chatting is not allowed too, right?

Not exactly. Although Admins might have a different perspective of the “block” issue, as an NABer and regular editor, everything is checked for a variety of reasons.

Excessive chatting - well, that’s just one, as you’ll see when you get to actually get to become this type of patroller.

Yeah, I seen the blocked user pages. People never learn…XD

If you should ever need it, keep the  https://www.wikihow.com/wikiHow:Administrator-Notice-Board in mind when patrolling.

Oh, ok. I had 2 other accounts and One of them I got blocked from patrol on. I got 3 accounts because I keep forgetting my password XD

From  wikihow.com/wikiHow:Frequently-Asked-Questions :

On any wiki, there’s a list of  Recent Changes (RC)  that shows every change or addition that’s been made to the site. Anyone is invited to use the tools we have on the site to review RC and decide which edits stay, and which ones don’t. Most of the edits made on any given day are helpful, and any bad edits (vandalism) are usually quickly reverted by an RC patroller. Would you like to help out? Check out how it is done in this article:  How to Patrol Recent Changes on wikiHow .
