@Confusionist this thread is different though…right? writers haven is for if you’re a writer wanting to share some of what they’ve wrote. I think…let me know if I’m wrong:slight_smile:please answer when closing or leave some kind of message.:slight_smile:

Yeah it seems that an invitation to tell a story about the goings on in your day is definitely different than creating fiction as in Writer’s Haven. I may be misunderstanding, though.

It seems that this thread is not about how to write, but about relating the specifics of the day’s events and the emotions those events evoked (using words). Am I missing something? *edit for clarity

Oh. Thank you Taylor. I was not aware that that the thread title was changed. The ability to edit without leaving a trace is one of the boons and also one of the banes of the Vanilla software: There is not much that can be done when a previous version vanishes into thin air.:confused:*edit for word choice

Looks like the title used to be “Short Stories”. They must have changed it to avoid it from being closed. Anyway, I’ll leave the thread open but in the future you might want to write that you edited the title.

well anyway, I floated a helium balloon to the rafters of my barn where my guinea fowl* were roosting. the balloon kinda freaked them out and so they flew all over the place squaking, running into windows, and pooping all the while.:slight_smile:anyway it was just kind of…well…“entertaining” to see.:slight_smile:*in case you are wondering, guineas are like a cross between a chicken and a turkey. just to let you know.:slight_smile:

another random story (not from today) one year in school, some guy broke out of jail in my town and knocked the guards unconscious! that was the first year our small private school had smart boards so we pulled up his picture on the smart board and had a lock down…that lasted all day!!! uuuurrrggghhh!!!

well, a semi pulled up at our driveway and two guys got out wanting directions. I know that’s a boring story, but I don’t want this thread to go.:frowning:

I went to a farm that I work at, then I came home, read, did some math, knit, played with my dog, and did exactly what I am typing right now. Also, I am currently talking Ina Pavel Chekov accent!:slight_smile:
