I want to add some words to the heading and be more descriptive. So when I press the Edit button on top, the article is availabe for editing but not the heading ( I think). Thanks so much for your help.

Is the idea of a heading the introduction, or the title? Generally speaking, the title cannot be changed by anyone except NABers or Admins, but you can suggest a new title by placing a title template on the article page, like this {{temp|New Title Here}} replacing the text “New Title Here” with the title you select. Keep in mind, both as part of wikiHow’s editing policy, and to improve search engine results, titles should be as brief and accurate in relationship to the content as possible. If you have a problem editing the introduction, or want to add various sub headings, you can check out the writer’s guide for more detailed info.
I’ve found the template{{title|New Title Here}} to be very helpful in lieu of much older template @BR
specified.
