Weird. Could you record a screencast to show us the issue? It’s quite hard for us to tell what exactly is happening without a screencast. A screenshot can also do, but screencasts in general are better.

Is there any kind of link in your article? If so, try removing it.
That is strange. Maybe you should shut down your computer/laptop. Or you could refresh the page. When I have weird problems like yours I do one of those 2 things and then it works again.
