Why, hello again
Apologies in advance - this’ll probably be a bit long.
A few days ago, I started a page on How to Identify a Dog’s Group
. Basically, it’ll give tips on how breeds of dogs in a certain “group” (toy, terrier, hound, herding, working, sporting, and non-sporting) are similar and how someone can tell which group a dog belongs in. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping out if they have the time? I enjoy writing articles on these topics, but this one’s probably going to get pretty long!
My main reason for making this thread is to see if anyone would want to help out in some way. I’m not sure if anyone will respond, but if you have interest in helping out with this project, feel free to reply to this or leave me a message.
I tried to write a lot of articles this past week, some of which were just for fun or to honor some newly-recognized breeds, but several of them were made with this project in mind, and here’s why:
There are multiple steps that’ll go into making this article - the article itself and some other dog articles that will be link-woven into it. Each group of dogs will be given its own section in the article, and each section will have a step at the end that lists some (though knowing myself, probably a ton of)
popular dog breeds that are part of that specific group. I started a draft of some breeds that might be included in these steps, and some of them don’t yet have articles of their own. It’d be ideal to have each breed in this collective article have its own article to link to in case readers want to learn more about that breed or group specifically. That being said, I’m hoping that articles can be created for each of these breeds (and if anyone wants to help out with these individual breed articles, I’d be happy to provide a list of breeds that need them), and though I’d be happy to create them all myself, it’d take a lot more work on my part. I’m willing to put in my time and effort to create all these articles, but I thought I’d reach out here and see if anyone would want to help, just in case!
So, anyone wanting to help out could work on some of these individual breed articles or work on the collective article.
I don’t expect the article to be finished anytime soon; it’s one that’ll take a lot of time, so I’m not too concerned about any time restraints on my part. I’ll probably keep it as inuse for quite a while.
All that being said, no pressure to reply or anything; I just wanted to ask in case there’s anyone who would want to help out, but if there’s not, that’s totally okay! Just didn’t want to deny anyone the chance
