Hey Rabeya, what do you need help with?
I am new to this forum - Very soon I will be going into Hospital to have a full Knee Replacement - Pre Med Tomorrow. - Any information from others who have gone through this would be appreciated. ( Not Negative to scare me to death please ) - This opperation I have put off as long as I possibly cold - mainly due to fear, - But as the knee pain has got steadily worse - Even lying in bed at night - I end up getting out of bed to take my Cocodamol - Have gone through all the other treatments first - Steroid injection / Going into hospital and have knee wash out opperation - So now unfortunatly - we have got to the - Big one. HELP! I’m about to give up! I am SO frustrated: a How-To site that has no How-To site! I am new here, and I can’t find something like “Newcomers’ Page” with all the information on one page, as to how to do the many new things we must learn: what symbols to use, your preferred format, how to ask or not ask for pictures, your preferences regarding a 1 to 10 setup, or does someone else do the numbering? I tried to edit, but the little ball never stopped spinning and nothing loaded. Why couldn’t you have a printable page that contained everything, such as all the symbols, rules, preferences, procedures, html use, editing, how to mark pages, EVERYTHING that no newcomer could possibly know. Then we could print it out and refer to it. Eventually, we would refer less and less until we had memorized it. IS there such a page? I tried all the drop-down menus and checked everywhere. It seems that the information a newcomer needs is sprinkled around helter skelter, one thing on this page, one thing on another page, a link to another thing. I am a very experienced writer and editor, but I am also very near tears from the extreme frustration of not being able to find the things a newcomer must learn. If I can’t figure this out, I will have to quit, which would be sad for both of us: I’m a former writer for the NYTimes Syndicate, and one of the few people with 99% of all grammatical rules memorized. I was so excited to volunteer here, but I’m within a quarter-inch of just giving up. I don’t even know how these comments work! Are there 3,500 questions ahead of mine? For a how-to site to need a how-to page would be comical if it weren’t driving away potential strong contributors.CAN ANYONE HELP ME?

It looks like you’ve had help on your talk page now, so I’m going to go ahead and close this older forum thread. Feel free to keep asking questions, though, either via talk page or in a new forum thread (you can start your own for new issues/questions/concerns). We’re all happy to help! Welcome to the community
