I made the cast list for my school musical Fame Junior!:slight_smile:I am so happy!

Nice!:slight_smile:What role did you get?

Thank you! And I don’t know…my drama teacher will let us know tomorrow I think, I just know that I did actually get a part. I’d be happy with anything.

What if you had to play a rat or something?

^ Or a tree. With no lines. That is forced to dance around for two hours without being able to move the arms.

I don’t think there are any trees or rats in Fame…:stuck_out_tongue:ISMKW, have you had that tree experience? Sounds like you did…

^ That’s cool. I tried out for the play Grease at my school, but I didn’ get a role:frowning:

Nah, but it’s the stereotypical ‘bad role’. I have little acting experience, actually.

Maddie: Great job! Congratulations. And everyone, “There are no small parts, just small actors”, meaning, it doesn’t matter, if you’re the dirt on the ground, every part matters.:slight_smile:Maddie, join me @ http://irc.wikiHow.com ? June Days

Aw, sounds fun! Yeah, when I was in my last play, we messed up so bad on the last preformence! I can’t even tell you what happened! Break a leg Maddie, you’ll do great!:wink:June Days

Just figured out that we have to compete against each other for parts we want- wish me luck for tomorrow- I’m trying out for a dance part!

I’m trying out for the part of Iris…

^ Who is that? I mean, does she have a bit more lines in the play? My acting modo: “There are no small parts, just small actors”.:slight_smile:June Days

She is a very passionate dancer and is one of the main characters. She acts like she is rich, but tells her secret to Tyrone, which is her parents can barely keep her in pointe shoes. :)) I’m really excited!!!

Little known Mike fact: I’ve doing, right now, my 10th school play (since 7th grade). I now get to be the narrator, which is pretty much the sweetest role ever because 1) I get to wear a suit 2) It’s a musical, I do no dancing, pretty much no singing, but my one song ends an act. Pretty sweet. 3) I have the first lines in each act, I’m actually the cue for the orchestra. 4) I get to chill on stage pretty much the entirety of the first act, which is awesome. 5) I get to die a funny death.
