I recently made an article (link at end of description) that needs to be added to. I’m trying very hard to become a featured author and need some help to get there. I am currently researching the matter too so I can add more information, can you help edit it and/or alert someone else you know will be able to help? Thank you for your help!

How to Read a Book in a Day when You Don’t Like the Book

Thanks Dave for the link.:slight_smile:Hey Kayla, I added a method to it. I formatted some text based on our formatting guidelines on this article - https://www.wikihow.com/Format-a-wikiHow-Article

Hi Kayla. I added some tips at the end, and changed some wordings around to make it a little easier to understand.

Hello! I added a tip and expanded the last step.

Interesting article

Hello, Kayla,

I have read and edited your article. It’s off to a great start! I added, formatted, and clarified some information and images. If you want to get the article published, I would recommend citing your resources. If you need, check out this article on how to add citations . I added a ref to the first step, as well as the code needed to show the ref list. Also, wikiHow articles generally benefit from images, so I pulled pictures from already existing articles to include in your article. (That being said, some images look out of place because they are a different style from the rest.) Finally, I think the title should be changed to “Read a Book You Don’t Like”. The article doesn’t have much information pertaining to read a loathed book in specifically 24 hours, and a broader title will attract more readers once it is published. I added a notice about the title change. If you have any questions, Kayla, about my edits or suggestions feel free to leave a message on my talk page, or reply to this comment in this forum. I can’t wait to see your article published:slight_smile:

Respectfully, WikiHowCollaborator

Quick note: I had to publish my edits twice for the images to show.

Sorry for spamming the forum, but I think there was a problem with the article. When I published my edits, the article displayed that there was only one co-author, and my user page said that I had started the article when I hadn’t. I want to make sure everyone gets credit for their work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

@WikiHowCollaborator , it looks like the page was moved while you were editing it. The original page is now titled Read a Book You Don’t Like in a Day . If you want, we can move your edits over there, and then redirect the original article.

@R2_d2000 Thanks for explaining. If you could move my edits that would be great! Do I need to do anything to aid that process?

@WikiHowCollaborator , all of the information has been moved over and the article is redirected. No need to do anything. Thanks for taking the time to improve the article.

@R2_d2000 Thank you so much! Have a great day!
